Use caution when working at elevated heights and around window and door

openings. Follow the manufacturers’ instructions for ladders and scaffolding. Failure

to do so could result in injury or death.

Follow manufacturers’ instructions for hand and power tools.

Always wear safety glasses. Failure to do so could result in

injury, product or property damage.

Remove interior handle/escutcheon plate. If replacing interior

handle/escutcheon plate, dispose of properly.

Remove interior and exterior handle/escutcheon plate and dispose of

properly.

Open active door panel. Loosen handle set screw with 3/32" or 2.5 mm hex key.

3/32" or 2.5 mm Hex Key

Interior Handle

Remove two (2) escutcheon plate screws using a Phillips screwdriver

and dispose of properly.

If replacing exterior handle/escutcheon plate, remove exterior

handle/escutcheon plate and dispose of properly.

Line up the tail piece and apply interior and exterior

handle/escutcheon plates.

Fasten escutcheon plate using screws provided.

Fasten escutcheon plate using saved screws.

Tighten handle set screw with 3/32" or 2.5 mm hex key.

Remove two (2) escutcheon plate screws and dispose of properly.

Close and lock active door panel. Check for correct lock operation.

▶Handle replacement is complete.

Hardware replacement is completed.

Test key in handle set. If it does not function properly, remove exterior

escutcheon plate, rotate tail piece 180° and repeat steps 6-7.
