Maintenance
Finish wood surfaces immediately after installation.
Unnished wood will deteriorate, discolor, and/or may
bow and split.
Do not stain or paint weatherstrip, vinyl, glass or
hardware. Product damage may occur.

Lift and position hinge leafs 45º from frame. Position support blocks under panel to align hinge leafs with hinge receivers. Starting with top hinge and
working down, align Hinge Receivers with Hinge Leaf and slide together. Proceed to Step 6, Page 6.

When pushing panel into place, make sure wing tongues fully engage
hinge receivers and release tabs snap into place. Failure to fully engage
panel onto frame may result in panel falling out causing serious personal
injury and/or product or property damage.

• Make sure Door Panel is sufciently supported.
Remove Position Fixing Screws from Hinge
Receivers with a hex wrench. Carefully pull away
from Hinges until free.
• Place panel upright against a stable surface and
remove Hinge Receivers with a phillips screwdriver.
Mark former position on back of Hinge Receivers,
top, middle, or bottom.
• Asegúrese de que el panel de puerta esté
debidamente apoyado. Con una llave hexagonal,

could drop causing injury and /or product damage.

and a reasonable number of people to move and install window
and door products to avoid injury or product damage.

Reattach Hinge Receivers in new panel
routs with previously removed screws.
Tighten securely.

Hang Panel by Align Hinge Receivers with Hinge Leaf and slide
together. Apply Position Fixing Screws with a hex wrench until
fully seated.

• From the exterior, insert Exterior Handle with Spindle attached into
panel. Handle should point toward door’s glass.
• Place Interior Handle onto Spindle and push both handles
together. Insert Set Screw in bottom of Handle insuring that it
enters the marked slot on the Spindle. Tighten Set Screw until fully
recessed in set screw hole.
• Align Interior Escutcheon and tighten securely.

• Insert Dummy Cylinder into front of Exterior Escutcheon. Place
Gasket against back of Exterior Escutcheon. Position assembly
against door panel and hold in place.
• From the interior, insert Lock Actuator through slot into Lock
Mechanism.
• Place the Retainer Plate over Lock Actuator and align bolt holes.
Insert 1-3/8" Cylinder Mounting Bolts through Retainer Plate,
through Lock Mechanism and into Dummy Cylinder. Tighten bolts
securely.
• Make sure that Lock Turnpiece on the Interior Escutcheon is in
the vertical position. Position Interior Escutcheon against door
panel so Lock Actuator shaft enters back of Lock Turnpiece.
Insert the 2-3/16" Escutcheon Bolts and secure loosely. Bolts
should remain loose until Handles are installed.
• If unit is equipped with an Optional Exterior Keyed Lock
begin by inserting the Cylinder Housing into slot on
exterior of panel and hold in place.
• From the interior, insert Lock Actuator through slot into
Lock Mechanism.
• Place the Retainer Plate over Lock Actuator and align
bolt holes. Insert 1-3/8" Cylinder Mounting Bolts through
Retainer Plate, through Lock Mechanism and into
Dummy Cylinder. Tighten bolts securely.
• Align Exterior Escutcheon with Gasket and hold in place
until secured in next step.
• Make sure that Lock Turnpiece on the Interior Escutcheon
is in the vertical position. Position Interior Escutcheon
against door panel so Lock Actuator shaft enters back of
Lock Turnpiece. Insert the 2-3/16" Escutcheon Bolts and
secure loosely. Bolts should remain loose until Handles
are installed.
• From the exterior, insert Exterior Handle with Spindle
attached into panel. Handle should point toward door’s
glass.
• Place Interior Handle onto Spindle and push both
handles together. Insert Set Screw in bottom of Handle
insuring that it enters the marked slot on the Spindle.
Tighten Set Screw until fully recessed in set screw hole.
• Align Interior Escutcheon and tighten securely.

Check Operation of Panel and Trim Set / Verifique la operación del panel y del kit de accesorios
• Make sure door Locking Mechanism is functioning correctly. Check operation with panel open.
Lift Handle and Lock Turnpiece into horizontal position. Hook bolts and dead bolt should extend.
• From the interior, close Panel, lock and engage hook bolts. There should be equal clearance
between Panel and Frame. If clearance is unequal refer to Hinge Replacement & Hinge and
Hardware Adjustment Instruction Guide.
• Due to normal building settlement Hinge adjustment may be necessary. Refer to Hinge
Replacement & Hinge and Hardware Adjustment Instruction Guide.
• Asegúrese de que el mecanismo del cerrojo funcione correctamente. Verique la operación
con el panel abierto. Levante la manija y gire la pieza de bloqueo a la posición horizontal. Los
