Preface: This document describes the steps required to adjust and use the Reverse-Mount Adapter Plate.

This is an essential tool for safely changing reverse mountwheels and plastic chrome clad wheels.

The adapter engages the rim lug holes ensuring maximum protection of the decorative face of the wheel.

It features a Single plate with adjustments for 4, 5, and 6 lug wheelsand set of 6 (70mm) pins / 6 (100mm) pins.

For use with any COATSPro-Guardand APS-3000 Tire Changer.

Swivel Plate Assembly

1. The adaptor plate top has numbered holes and slots to identify where to insert arms and pins

For 4, 5 or 6 lug rims. Only one hole is not marked with a number. This hole will match the

anti-rotation pin on the center-post faceplate.

2. The adapter plate bottom has a center hub to match the center hole of the center-post faceplate.

3. Adaptor Plate includes 6 Pivoting Arms, with a Pivoting Pin to match numbered holes, and small Driving Pin to

match numbered slots. Also included are 6 Mounting Pins to match reverse mounted wheel lug holes. Mounting

Pins included are 70mm and 100mm long. Pin diameters are 28mm. All 12 pins have tapered shape heads.

4. Place the Adaptor Plate over the standard rubber coated faceplate of the center-post, matching the Adapter

center hub with the center hole. Align the anti-rotation pin with the only hole on the adaptor, which is not marked

with a number.

5. Assemble as many arms/pins as the rim lug holes you need to match on your reverse mounted wheel, using

proper holes on the faceplate. (example shows 5)

6. Center hub and anti-rotation pin provide enough friction to prevent faceplate from spinning during wheel

clamping and mount & demount operations.
