Introduction
The CINEO D1000 is part of the CINEO product family.
The CINEO D1000 is a docking station which enables the authorized opening
and closing of CINEO cassettes.
CINEO cassettes that have a "mid-range" or higher configuration are able to
save data about cash management and logistics functions in an internal
memory, and they are also able to document tampering incidents
independently.
The CINEO D1000 allows this data to be read and written outside of an
automated teller machine.
In order to be able to operate the CINEO cassettes with the aforementioned
technical configuration, they must be opened in an authorized manner when
the remaining banknotes are removed and when the cassettes are filled; it is
also necessary to document the change in the internal cassette memory.
A PC with the installed "Cash Supply Manager (CSM)" software is required to
operate the CINEO D1000.

Important safety precautions
Please read the following notes carefully before doing any work on the
device.
This device complies with the relevant safety regulations for information
processing equipment.
Unless otherwise stated, grasp the components only by the green ledge
when handling them.
This device is equipped with a safety-tested power cable, which should
only be connected to a suitable, grounded electrical socket.
Always hold the plug when removing the power cable. Never pull the cable
itself.
Lay all connecting cables in such a way that they will not be stepped on or
tripped over, damaged or crushed in any way.
Have damaged power cables replaced immediately.
Make sure that there is always free access to the sockets used or to the
electrical circuit-breakers of the house installation.
In case of an emergency (e.g. damaged housing, controls or power cables,
water or foreign objects in the device), proceed as follows:
Deactivate the device immediately by:
Switching off the automatic circuit breaker or removing the fuse insert
from the fuse holder in the distribution box of the building’s electricity
distribution cabinet.
Disconnecting the plug connectors of the power supply cables from the
grounded sockets in the distribution cabinet.
Interrupting the power connection, if there is one, between the UPS
(uninterruptible power supply) and the device (see section "General
power interruption").
Inform the customer service responsible for you.
Never connect or disconnect data transmission lines during a
thunderstorm.
