Introduction
This operating manual provides all the information required for problem-free
operation of the CINEO C6050.
After you studied the operating manual, you will be able to:
empty and fill cassettes with banknotes,
eliminate malfunctions (such as banknote jams),
properly operate the device.

Important safety precautions
Please read the following notes carefully before doing any work on the
device.
Be careful not to injure your head when the customer panel is lifted up!

When the functionality of the gas springs decreases, the Service must
be informed, for there is a risk of injury.
This device complies with the relevant safety regulations for information
processing equipment.
Note the warning and information labels on the device.
Unless otherwise stated, grasp the components only by the green ledge
when handling them.
The device is equipped with a safety-tested power cable which must be
connected only to a suitable grounded outlet.
Replace the lighting unit in the customer panel only when the device is
switched off.
Always hold the plug when removing the power cable. Never pull the cable
itself.
Install cables in such a way that they will not be stepped on or tripped over
or damaged or crushed in any way.
Have damaged power cables replaced immediately.
Make sure that there is always free access to the sockets used or to the
electrical circuit-breakers of the house installation.
In case of an emergency (e.g. damaged cabinets, controls or power cables,
liquids or foreign objects in the device) take the following steps:
Deactivate the device immediately by:
Switching off the automatic circuit-breaker or removing the fuse inset
from the fuse holder in the distribution box of the building installation.
Disconnecting the plug connectors of the power supply cable from the
grounded sockets in the building installation.
Switching off the power switch on the power distributor.
If installed, interrupting the power connection between the UPS
(uninterruptible power supply) and the device (see section "General
power interrupt").
Inform the customer service responsible for you.

During a thunderstorm, data transmission lines must not be connected or
disconnected.
Always keep the device's vents free from obstruction to ensure proper air
circulation and to prevent malfunctions resulting from overheating.
Only use accessories and extension components which have been
approved by us. Nonobservance can result in damage to the device or
violations of regulations concerning safety, radio interference and
ergonomical requirements.
Note that there are only safety extra-low voltage circuits (SELV circuits) if
you want to feed voltage from an external source into prepared cables to
install additional electronics (e. g. EMA connection, relay panel for external
features).
To clean the device only use cleaning agents approved by
WINCOR NIXDORF International GmbH (see chapter "Appendix").
Repairs
Repair work may only be carried out by authorized personnel.
Unauthorized opening of the device or repair work carried out
improperly could result in considerable danger to the user.
In case of noncompliance, WINCOR NIXDORF International GmbH
excludes all liability.

Lithium batteries
The handling and the replacement should only be performed by
authorized service personnel who were trained by the
WINCOR NIXDORF International GmbH.
There is danger of fire or explosion if the batteries are handled
improperly. It is therefore important to note the following points:
Avoid short circuits
Never recharge the battery
Avoid temperatures above +100 °C (+212 °F).
Do not try to open the battery by force
Do not allow the battery to come in contact with water or fire
The battery should only be replaced with the same or an equivalent
type recommended by WINCOR NIXDORF International GmbH (see
chapter “Appendix,” section “Consumables”).
Dispose of used batteries in compliance with national regulations and
the manufacturer's specifications.

A
general power interrupt has the following effects:
All current transactions are immediately aborted.
Banknotes remain in the transport paths. They are transported to
the reject tray after the device is switched on again.
Switch the device off (see chapter "Basic Operation", section "Switching the
device on/off").
To ensure that the entire device is disconnected from power, you must also
pull the plug of the power cable from the wall outlet or interrupt the power
supply in the distributor box of the building by switching off the circuit-
breaker or by removing the fuse.

Device Overview
The CINEO C6050 is a banknote deposit/dispenser device which has been
designed for indoor installation. The device is operated via the product-specific
software for the system unit (PC) connected to the device.
The deposit procedure takes place via the cash input module. A maximum of
200 banknotes can be deposited per deposit transaction.
The closed cash cycle means that deposited banknotes are made available
again for subsequent transactions. The closed cash cycle is made possible by
using transport modules and up to five drum modules.
The dispensing procedure takes place via the cash output module.
