1 Product description
It is a spare parts HDMI converter module for a house controller.
It is used in cases where the controller does not display anything.
Apart from a faulty converter module, it may also be due to:
That the 24 V supply to the module is not connected correctly.
That the CPU module is defective.
That the display is defective.

2.1 Recommended tools
A list of the recommended tools for mounting purposes can be seen below.

Crosshead screwdriver
Screwdriver straight slot (2 pcs.)
Installation, servicing and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment must be carried out by quali-
fied personnel in compliance with the applicable national and international standard EN 60204-1
and any other EU standards that are applicable in Europe.
The installation of a power supply isolator is required for each motor and power supply to facilitate
voltage-free work on the electrical equipment. The power supply isolator is not included.
2.2 Preparing for replacement
When replacing, you have to use the following new parts:

1. Disconnect the power to the controller.
2. Disconnect the network connector from (D) the CPU module, if your controller is part of a network.
3. Remove the flat cable (B) from the main module.
4. Disconnect the connector on the backlight supply cable (E) on the main module.

Place the panel on a stable surface where you can complete the replacement.

Removing the HDMI converter module
1. Position the panel with the back facing up and click off the protective grille to release it from the CPU mod-
ule. Use a screwdriver as shown in the picture (F).
2. Disconnect the USB and HDMI wires (G).
3. Disconnect the 24 V supply line (H).
4. Disconnect the cables. Open the wide cable lock (I) by tilting it upwards. Open the narrow cable lock (J) by
pushing it downwards.
5. Remove the converter module by pressing the latches (K) at each end of the module lightly upwards and
then eject the module.

Mount the HDMI converter module
1. Push the spare part module into place. Be sure to retain the pressure on the end where the 24 V supply is
(L), so the module is not pushed into an oblique position.
2. Mount the USB and HDMI wires (G).
3. Mount the 24 V supply line (H).
4. Mount the two cables (I) and (J). Remember to click both latches in place.

Mounting of other parts (see illustrations above)
1. Mount the protective grill on the CPU module.
2. Connect the connector to the backlight supply line (E).
3. Attach the flat cable (B) to the main module.
4. If the controller is part of a network, connect the network connector (D) to the CPU module.
5. Mount the panel on the cabinet using the screws (A).
6. Power the controller.
2.4 Checking and calibration
It is very important to check that the controller is working as it did before, as simple connections can be
switched around. The controller will give a warning in this respect, but it will not indicate which connec-
tions are moved.
If there are animals in the livestock house, it is very important to check the values after the update, so
that the day number and all other settings are correct again.
See the Technical Manual for instructions on checking and calibration if the controller does not start up again as
it should.
