2.1 Recommended tools
Below follows a list of tools recommended for the installation.
Item Description
Cross-head screwdriver
Screwdriver straight slot (two)
Installation, servicing and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment must be carried out by quali-
fied personnel in compliance with the applicable national and international standard EN 60204-1
and any other EU standards that are applicable in Europe.
The installation of a power supply isolator is required for each motor and power supply to facilitate
voltage-free work on the electrical equipment. The power supply isolator is not included.
2.2 Preparing for replacement
When replacing, you have to use the following new parts:
• Display
Front foil
Mounting tool
Any SD card for backup
2.3 Backup of existing setup and data
SKOV A/S recommend that backup of historical data is set to take place automatically once a day. This ensures
that a new backup will always be available. The automatic backup takes place at 1:30 a.m.
Although the house controller is set to backup automatically, it can be an advantage to make a new backup just
before the replacement is carried out. This ensures that the latest data is transferred.

Mounting the display
It is essential to have good light and a stable surface to replug the connectors accurately.
Try to put the display on first without taping it. Once the tape protection has been removed, you cannot readjust
the position of the display.
1. Place the manufacturer-supplied mounting tool (K) in the corner where you run the flat cables of the display.
2. Bend the flat cables (L) of the display forward and run them through the panel.
3. Put down the display and push it up against the tool to ensure that there is the same distance all the way
around.
4. Tilt the display up and remove the tape protection. Be careful when placing the display again.

2.5 Checking and calibration
It is crucial to check that the climate controller is working as it did before, as simple connections can be
switched around. The climate controller provides a warning, but it does not indicate, which connection
has been moved.
If there are animals in the livestock house, it is imperative to check the noted values after the update,
so that the day number and all other settings are correct.
Confer the technical manual for instructions on checking and calibration if the climate controller does not start
up again, as usual.
