These cleaning instructions describe the cleaning of the CINEO C6010 and

the correct handling of the cleaning agents.

You will find general instructions on how to operate the device in the operating

manual included with the CINEO C6010.

Important Safety Precautions

The device must be switched off for service and maintenance work

(see chapter "Basic Operation" in the operating manual of the CINEO

C6010).

In addition, please note the following:

 Take care not to drop any cleaning liquids into the device.

 To clean the device only use cleaning agents approved by WINCOR

NIXDORF International GmbH (see chapter "Approved cleaning agents").

Cleaning interval:

You should clean the CINEO C6010 after 50.000 moved banknotes or at least

all 3 months.

Notes on using cleaning materials

Please note the manufacturer's specifications on the packaging and

on the information sheet included in the packaging.

The product can be damaged or soiled if non-approved materials are

used or if the product is handled improperly.

Dispose of the packaging and empty containers in accordance with

locally applicable regulations.

Application - air duster

Hold the air duster always vertical or

put it down.

Use the air pressure ray always only

intermittently.

While a continuous air pressure

ray the air duster can get very

cold.

Application - Cleaner WN-260

Always spray the cleaner on a

universal cleaning cloth.

Then clean the screens of the

banknote validator with the wet

universal cleaning cloth.

Never apply the cleaner directly

to the screens of the banknote

validator!

Cleaning the head unit

Clean the components / areas of the head unit corresponding to the

following description.

Input tray

 Switch the device off (see chapter "Basic Operation" in the operating

manual CINEO C6010).

 Pull out the head unit (see chapter "Basic Operation" in the operating

manual CINEO C6010).

Open the shutter (1) to clean the input

tray.

Pull the green locking/release lever (2)

upwards and swing the Input/Output

unit (3) upwards.

Turn the green gearwheel (4) on the

right-hand side as far as possible in

the direction of the arrow.

By turning the green gearwheel

in the direction of the arrow the

shutter of the input tray will

open.

 Swing the Input/Output unit back again.

Clean the opened input tray, the

marked area, with the air duster.

 Swing the Input/Output unit upwards again.

Turn the green gearwheel (5) at the

right-hand side as far as possible in

the direction of the arrow.
