Installation Instructions
with Parts Identification
READ these instructions before placing unit in
service KEEP these and other materials delivered
with the unit in a binder near the machine for
ease of reference by supervisors and operators.

Wheel Lift Installation
Instructions
Important: Before proceeding with the
installation of the Wheel Lift, perform the
following pre-installation operations to
provide higher safety conditions both to
the operator and to the tire changer.
Failure to perform these pre-installation
operations may result in accidents com-
promising machine integrity, operator and
by-standers.
Pre-Installation Operations:
Close the turntable clamps completely.
Set the vertical arm in working position.
Lower the operating arm completely and lock it.
Turn OFF both electrical and pneumatic feeding.
Let residual air out from pneumatic circuit by per-
forming some loadless bead-breaking operations.

Wheel Lift Assembly
Installation Procedure
1. Unscrew the 4 screws and washers (set aside)
and remove the side cover. (Fig. 2, 3, & 4)

2. Unscrew the 4 screws and washers and remove
the pedal cover. (Fig. 5, 6, & 7)
3. Position and align the Wheel Lift Assembly with
the holes on the machine body. (Fig. 8)
4. Slightly screw in the 4 screws with washer sup-
plied to hold the Wheel Lift up. (Fig. 9)
5. Make sure that the Wheel Lift is correctly posi-
tioned and that the lifting plate is well aligned with
ground, and then tighten the screws. (Fig. 10)

6. Remove the hose, shown in fig. 11, from the
new Front Pedals Cover with built-in Wheel Lift
UP/DOWN Movement Control.
7. Set the hose into the hole shown in fig. 12 & 13.
8. Find the distributor block, shown in fig. 14, on
the bottom of the machine body.
9. Identify the hose, shown in fig. 15, and cut it at
2-inch (5cm) from the union placed on the distributor
block.
10. Set the supplied T-union on one of the hose
ends, as shown in fig. 16.
11. Connect the other end of hose, as shown in
fig. 17.

12. Connect the hose, coming from Wheel Lift, to
the free union, fig. 18.
13. Fix the hose coming from the Wheel Lift to
those by the pedal box using the Cable Tie, as shown
in fig. 19.
14. Connect the hose, coming from the machine
body, to the previously disconnected union. (Fig. 20)
15. Connect the other two hoses to the flow
divider unions, as shown in fig. 21.
16. Lay the hoses in the face back side and set it
level with the fixing holes. (Fig. 22 & 23)

17. Using the remaining screws and washers, fas-
ten the pedal cover to the body. (Fig. 24)
18. Replace the side cover and fasten it to the
body using the screws and washers side aside. (See
Fig. 25)
Operational Check
Important: Before performing the final test
of the Wheel Lift, ensure the following to
maintain machine and user safety:
That no by-standers stand in the range
of action of the tire changer.
That the clamp opening/closing pedal
is in closing position.
That the operating arm is locked.
1. Reconnect both electrical and pneumatic sys-
tems.
2. Wait a few seconds for the pneumatic circuit air
filling.
3. Press Wheel Lift UP/DOWN control and see if
the movements correspond to the desired action.
