APPLICATIONS
Tractor or Straight Truck with Mack Camelback Suspension
Sensor Locaon:
Mode:
The gauge can be mounted anywhere on the outside of the vehicle.
Strain sensor “A” should be mounted on the top, center of the steer axle
using the 221-SK installaon kit. Strain sensor “B” should be mounted
on the top, center of the trunnion tube that runs between the two drive
axles using the 218-SK installaon kit. Refer to the 218-SK and 221-SK
manuals for more informaon on how to install each strain sensor.
Set the gauge to Independent (IDP) mode to see separate weights for
the steer axle and the drive axle group. See Spring Suspension Gauge
manual for informaon on how to set the mode.
