BLOTZ B28-FG-003 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the Ruined Cathedral B28-FG-003 model. This document details the assembly process, including how to combine various components like the pillars and buttresses. I'm here to answer any questions you have regarding the instructions and the assembly of your model.

Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Please ensure you have built all the components (see separate instructions) before attempting this build.
Take the components shown above.
(NB: The pillars are the triangular ones)
Glue them together as shown to form the bay.
Attach the two tall buttresses.
Take these pieces.
(NB: The pillars are the Odd #1 pillars)
Glue them together to form these two sub-
assemblies.
Attach the sub-assemblis to the sides of the bay as
shown above.
Take these components.
..and glue them together.
Attach them to the right side of the bay as shown.
Then take these pieces.
Glue them into position (see pic)
Next take these components.
And glue them together as shown.
Then attach them to the model.
Take these parts.
Glue the into position as shown above.
Take the side wall and short buttresses.
And attach them to the model.
Take these pieces.
Glue them together as shown above.
Then attach that assembly to the model.
Take the blanking strips.
Work around the model using the strips to cover
the open sides of the pillars.
Glue the model to its base.
