Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care
and remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in
place while you allow glue to dry.
For the Cathedral follow these instructions twice to make each side as a mirror image.
Please refer to the separate “B08-FG-xxx Components” instruction sheet for details on how to make the
individual component pieces.
Gather the components shown above.
Glue them together as shown, then repeat so you
have two identical sections.
Take these components.
Form them into the sections shown above.
Glue them together as shown to form the tower.
insert a floor piece into the top of the tower.
Take these components.
Glue them together as shown.
Note – if you wish this wall to be to the right of the
tower rather than the left, glue the columns to the
opposite side.
Glue the wall to the left of the tower.
The rear wall is made from these components.
Glue them together as shown.
The side walls are made from these components.
Glue them together as shown.
Glue the side walls to the front of the building, then
glue the bak wall into place.
Remove ONE of the inserts from the large floor.
Glue this into position.
Take the buttress pieces.
Work around the bottom of the building, glueing the
buttresses into place on the columns.
Take the edgeing strips.
Work around the building, glueing these into place.
Cut one of the strips as shown above.
Glue this into the column shown above.
Take the strips from the balustrade kit.
Glue these into place where balustrades join large
columns.
Take the short strips.
Glue these to the short columns.
The completed building.
