10mm Corner Building
B10-MW-014
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due
care and remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold
pieces in place while you allow glue to dry.
Foyer Section
Remove the five front wall sections, two back
wall sections and the base from the sprue.
Starting with the back walls, glue these into position,
followed by the left and right “front” walls.
These are the connectors used to join the wall
pieces together.
Attach the three “L” connectors as shown. Note, each
has a letter on it which corresponds to a tab on the
walls.
These form the central portion of the front wall.
Again, note the letters on the connectors and the tabs.
Once the walls and connectors are in place it will
look like this.
Take the two outer back walls from the sprue.
Then glue them to the back walls as shown. Their
tops will slot in between the corner connectors.
The outer skin of the front walls are as shown above.
Starting with the outermost pieces and working
inwards, glue the outer skin to the front wall.
The detailing of the left hand front wall is created
using the pieces shown.
Glue the door behind the opening, then attach
the pillars using the etched guidelines. Plus the
“lights” into place and then attach the horizontal
strips as shown.
The right hand front wall has its lights and strips glued
into place
Finally add the lights and strips for the three
central sectons.
Middle Section
Note: All the detailing strips (thich and thin) match up with the design cut into the edge of the floor. To
help get the alignment of these spot on, you may find it easier to construct the roof section and have it
sat in place on top of the middle section as the base of the roof section also has the design cut into it.
The detailing for each section of wall is specific - they are on the sprue in the correct order to be
attached to that section of wall as some pieces are longer than others. For this reason only remove
them from the sprue when you are ready to attach them.
The “floor” and rear walls of the middle section.
The “left” and “right” walls of the middle section.
Glue the rear walls and left/right walls to the
floor as shown. As their lugs extend below the
floor you may find it wasier to do this if you rest
the floor on top of the Foyer section.
The three middle pieces of wall and their connectors.
As with the Foyer, the connectors have letters on
which correspond to the letters on the wall pieces.
The three corner connectors.
Attach the connectors using the letters to match them
up.
Remove the outer skin of the rear walls from the
sprue.
Then glue them to the back walls as shown. Their tops
will slot in between the corner connectors.
The detailing for each wall is specific. They are on
the sprue in the correct order to be attached to
the wall.
