Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Please ensure you have built all the components (see separate instructions) before attempting this build.
Build ONE half-height pillar with blanking plates
on opposite sides (the blue bits in the picture).
Build THREE full height pillars with blanking plates
on adjacent sides and TWO full height pillars with
blanking plates on opposite sides (the blue bits in
the picture)
Build the wall for the stairs component. Then one
full height pillar (opposite blanks) and an end
piece.
Glue them together as shown.
The pieces for the front wall.
Attach these pieces together.
NB: both pillars have blanks on adjacent sides.
Glue these pieces together.
NB: The pillars have blanks on opposite sides.
Then glue these two assemblies together.
Attach the other end piece to the remaining pillar.
At this point you should have this in your build
area.
Paint the various assemblies and the base before
proceeding.
We used a black aerosol undercoat and once it
was dry used three shades of blue/grey with a dry
brush technique to paint the walls/base.
Do not paint the balcony pieces.
Finish assembling your staircase and use the
corner balcony pieces.
Add the broken archway on top.
Attach the other two walls.
And glue the model to the base.
Pop the middle cut-out from the balcony and glue it
in place with its supports underneath it.

Pop the two outer cut-outs from the balcony and
glue it in place with its supports underneath it.
