painted wardrooms. Fit the upper frames in the bow

wardroom 179 and 180 and the ends of the ceiling 181and

182. Fit the lower frames 183 and 184 and the skirting 185

and 186 in the bow wardroom. Glue the six portholes 80

(three on each side), glue the ceiling lining 187 and the

columns 188 in the bow wardroom. Carry out the same

30With the parts 206, 207, 208, 209, 210,

211 and 109, build the bilge pump. Glue

the masthole 154, and around this make ten

holes 0.8mm in diameter to fit the eyebolts

109. Make the pin-rails (see Step 26). Mount

the pin-rails, the bow wardroom, the netting

machine and the bilge pump. Glue the two bitts

110 and the four working warping heads 212.

With the parts 213, 214, 215, 216, 217, 218,

219, 220, 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227,

228, 229 and 26 build the storeroom. With the

parts 230, 231, 232, 233 and 234 build the two

cages and stain them with a mixture of bitumen

and approximately 30 per cent solvent. With

the 0.5mm-diameter brass wire, make the bars

for the cages 235. Build the two stairs on the

bridgedeck with the sides 236 and the steps

31Glue the central wardroom, the storeroom, the two cages and the two stairs on the bridgedeck. Glue the mizzen masthole 155, and around this

make five holes 0.8mm in diameter to fit the eyebolts 109. Make the holes indicated in the photo to fit the four boat davits 238. With the 2mm

brass straping 238a, make the hinges for the boat davits and fix the boat davits to the inside of the gunwale covers with the nails 26. Glue the bitts 110

to port and starboard. With parts 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, 251, 252, 253, 254 and 80 build the wardroom on the

bridgedeck. First, stain parts 243, 244, 245, 247, 248, 249, 251 and 252. With the parts 255, 256 and 257 build and stain the skylight opening. Cut the

six pieces of glass 258 and glue them on the inside of the skylight.
