parts 26, 103, 129 and 130 make the latrine bilge pump. With parts 131, 132, 133, 134, 135
and 136 make the windlass and, with parts 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145 and 146,
make the latrines.

25 Fit parts on bow deck, continued
25Fit the latrines and glue the network of stanchions 147 to the bow
rail. Make 2mm-diameter holes for inserting the anchor davits 148.
Fit the small eyebolts 93 and large eyebolts 109 into the ship’s hull, and
fit the anchors 149 with their stocks 150 with the help of the securing
chains 151 (red, yellow and blue arrows) and with the fine brown cotton
davit thread 153 (green arrows). Sand down the mastholes, following the
red lines 154 and 155. Make the stairs on the bow forecastle deck with
the sides, left 156, right 157 and the steps 158 cut to 12mm. Glue the
foretop masthole 154 on the deck. Make two 2mm-diameter holes to fit
the chain chock 159. Glue one end of the chain 151 around the windlass
and the other in the hole of the deck chain chock 159. Fit the two large
eyebolts on the bow 109 with the small rings 108. With the parts 160,
161, 162, 163, 164, 165 and 166 make and fit the two netting machines.

measuring 0.8mm in diameter. Fit the bitts into
the curved beam168 and insert the five
belaying pins 103. Paint the belaying pins 103 in
a dark colour. Glue the foresail masthole 154
and make 12 0.8mm-diameter holes to fit the
eyebolts 109. On both sides of the foresail
masthole, make 0.8mm-diameter holes to fit
the eyebolts 109 with their rings 108. Glue one
of the netting machines made in a previous
step. With the parts 169, 170 and 171, build the
bow wardroom and with the parts 172, 173
and 174, build the central wardroom.
