The IR service remote control has been specially developed for commissioning the Busch-Watchdog MasterLINE
movement detector at the customer's place. It assists the electrical installer to remotely operate and adjust all
functions, test mode and setting of the response characteristics.
The IR remote control serves for adjusting Busch-Watchdog devices.
The IR remote control 6841-101 can only be operated with Bush-Watchdogs 110 MasterLINE and
220 / 280 MasterLINE.

1 Reset the potentiometer setting on the Busch-Watchdog to the factory settings and activate it.
To do this, press the button for at least 1 second.
2 Displays the current settings of the IR service remote control via the LED matrix.
3 Activate the test mode ("Activation test") for 10 minutes or deactivate it.

1. Remove the protective foil from the battery before commissioning.
6.2 Programming the device

2. Press the "AUTO" button on the remote control for at least 3 seconds within the period of 10 minutes after
activating the power on the Busch-Watchdog.
- The Busch-Watchdog must be de-energized for at least 30 seconds.
- The remote control will then automatically connect itself to the Busch-Watchdog, and the Busch-
Watchdog will flash if the reception is correct.
- Repeat these steps to program a maximum of 9 additional remote controls.
