Basic Call Handling
Make an Internal call
Dial extension number
Make an External call
Dial '9' and telephone number
Receive a call
Lift receiver
Hold a call
Press 'Hold' key or dial 2 (Line key will flash)
Retrieve a held call
Press Line key next to the flashing light
Transfer a call
Dial extension number, announce caller, replace
receiver
Transfer a caller into a mailbox [R4.1 upwards]
Whilst on a call dial * [Star] and the extension
number [The caller will be transferred directly
into the mailbox for them to leave a message]
Retrieve a call (If busy or no reply)
Press the release key followed by the line
key next to the flashing light
Redial last number
Press 'Redial' key or dial 40, you can then scroll
through the last 10 numbers you dialed using the
+ and – keys. Press OK to dial
Touch tone dialling
When answered by an automated menu press
your 'Tones' key or dial 69 to activate tone dial
facility
Further Telephone Features
Park a call
Dial 12 (caller will be on hold in the system)
replace receiver.
Retrieve a Parked call
Go to any handset, lift receiver, dial 12 plus ext
number where the call was parked.
3 way conference call
Whilst on a call , dial 3
rd

party will be on
hold), when they answer, introduce the call and
press 'Conf' key or dial 50 to join all 3 together
(Max 3)
Exit conference
Press 'Conf' key or dial 50 and hang up
Call back on a busy extension
Dial extension, press # key and replace receiver
Cancel a call back
Lift receiver and press # key to cancel call back
Tannoy/Broadcast through sperakers in phones
Lift receiver, dial broadcast group number 41 – 48
Pick up a specific extn
Lift receiver and dial 13 and ringing extn no
Pick up a group call (If you are in a pick up group)
Dial 14 or press ‘Pick up’ to answer any phone in
your group. (The system will give you the longest
ringing call first)
Diverting your telephone
Divert calls immediately
Lift Receiver, press 'Divert' key or dial 61, then
enter no. to receive calls
Divert on Busy
Lift receiver, dial 62, then enter no. to receive calls
Do Not Disturb
Lift receiver, dial 63.
Divert calls to voicemail
Lift receiver, press ‘Divert’ key or dial 61, then
press the ‘Mail’ key
Cancel any divert
Lift receiver, press 'Divert' key or dial 60
Storing Useful numbers
Programme personal speed dial (Max 10)
Lift Receiver and Dial 8006
Select speed dial location on keys 1 - 0
Enter tel number inc '9' for an outside line
Replace receiver to store
Dial a personal speed dial
Press 'Spd dial' key and location 1-0
Use System speed dial
Lift receiver and dial speed dial code 7000 +
