made with raw cotton thread 372, the metal
blocks 416, the pendants made with
medium brown thread 378, the blocks
348 and 417 and the strengtheners on
the ends of the yard 418. With fine
raw thread 308, fit the mainsail 441
and fit the block and tackle 395. Gently
hoist the sail with the thread 308 (red
arrows) and with the threads 372 and
308 make the clewlines (blue arrows)
and the braces (yellow arrows). With
thread 308, make the rest of the
rigging (violet and orange arrows). Do
this on both the port and starboard
