EU Air Handling Unit INSTALLATION

Installation

Units with RECUTERM EURC, ECOTERM EURE,

ECOTERM BOX EURV heat recovery units, EUQA,

EUQB air cooler and/or EUNN or EUNP air cooler are

provided with drain connections on the inspection side

for connection to a water trap. The EUAZ-08 water trap

is designed for max. 800 Pa sub-atmospheric pressure.

CAUTION Not designed for pressure above atmospheric.

Installation

Fit the water trap without the use of tools as shown in

the figure above and in the following order:

A. Connect the elbow 2 to the drain pipe 1 .

B. Connect the discharge pipe 1 (32 mm o.d.) to the water

trap outlet 6 .

The discharge pipe should be as short as possible and

should be run with a continuous incline to a floor gully,

without reduction in area.

A clear space of at least 150 mm is required below the

unit for the water trap.

150 mm

4. U-bend

5. Non-return valve with cleaning cover

6. 32 mm i.d. outlet with compression coupling

7. Floor gully

N.B. The water trap and discharge pipe must not be

subjected to temperatures below freezing. If the unit

is installed outdoors, the drain pipe, water trap and

discharge pipe should be insulated. The water trap

should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
