Note
Cuspidor is wrapped and sealed in a box to protect the glass.
Carefully inspect parts before installing.
Step 2: Route cuspidor tubing and mounting post into console
bearing. Keep rotation stop pin on the open side of the
bearing collar.
With cuspidor fully inserted, tighten the two set screws
into the mounting groove to secure.
Note Tightness of set screws determines drag on cuspidor rotation.
Step 3: Connect cuspidor power and attach ground to
console frame. Connect like colored tubing.
Connect drain lines with hose clamp.

WARNING
Always disconnect chair from the power source before removing
any covers. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.
Step 1: Disconnect chair from power supply.
Remove console side cover. Loosen bottom screw and remove
inside console cover.
Tip: Console covers fit up under a lip at the top, pull out from bottom, then down to remove.
Caution
Connect ground wire to ensure system ground continuity.
Failure to do so may result in electric shock.

Step 4: Align bowl to base press gently into place.
Install cup fill tube, bowl fill tube and bowl
strainer.
Note: May use alternate bowl rinse tube in facilities that have
a 1” (2.5 cm) air gap built into the drain system.

Step 5: Remove J-box lid.
Step 7: Water valve connections
A) Connect 1/8” red pilot air tubing to T-Barb.
B) Replace 1/8" fitting on pilot valve with the 1/4" fitting from
the hardware kit. Connect 1/4" blue tubing.
C) Connect 1/8" blue tubing for city water to the T-Cross
fitting if city water option is being used.
Note: Replace 1/8” fitting on the T-Cross fitting with a plug from the hardware
kit, if CITY WATER option is not being used.
Step 6: Use hose clamp to install 5/8" tubing from umbilical
to facility drain.

Installation Checklist
Test Verify the following:

Cuspidor rotates towards patient and stays in position.
Adjust stop rotation pin or drag if necessary. Reference
Step 2.

Console covers are installed and no wires or tubing is
pinched.

If cuspidor makes contact with an object while chair is
being lowered, the stops the chair.

Pressing Cup Fill or Bowl Rinse button activates the
correct function.
5
There are no leaks in the fill or drain connections or
tubing.
6
Wipe components with a soft dry cloth to remove dirt or
smudges.
Step 10: Connect chair to power supply.
Verify cuspidor operation.
Step 9: Install console covers and place
the lid on the J-box.

Bowl rinse...
Press bowl rinse button to activate the bowl rinse function.
Note: The default bowl rinse function allows water to run for 15 seconds
then stops.
Program a new time for the cup fill function...
A) Press and release program button.
Wait to hear a beep to confirm it is in program mode.
B) Press and hold cup fill button for the desired amount
of cup fill time.
C) Listen for two beeps to confirm program.
Cup fill...
Press cup fill button to activate the cup fill
function. Press and hold button after a cup
fill to “top off” cup.
Note: The default cup fill function allows water to run
for 5 seconds then stops.
Program a new time for the bowl rinse function...
A) Press and release program button.
Wait to hear a beep to confirm it is in program mode.
B) Press and hold the bowl rinse button for the desired
amount of bowl rinse time.
C) Listen for two beeps to confirm program.
Cuspidor Lockout...
Tap program button three times to activate
cuspidor lockout. Listen for a beep to confirm
that the lockout is active.
Tap program button three times to inactivate
cuspidor lockout. Listen for two beeps to
confirm the lockout is inactive.
