SUMMARY: EMI filter PC board p.n. 0455803881 has been replaced by p.n. 0558006727. The
0455803881 was designed to function when 3 phase power is applied to the above units. In the
event of a phase loss, single phase power is supplied and the increased current in the filter coils will
cause a failure of the EMI Filter to occur.
OPERATIONAL IMPACT: EMI failure will result in an electrical short between phases of the
input power leads, causing smoke and fire damage to the power module.
ACTION:
1-Inspect the EMI filters connected to the input section of each module, if signs of heat damage
is present or a failure has occurred, replace the filter with p.n. 0558006727.
2-Inspect the K1 contactor. If damaged or if replacing the EMI filter, the contactor should be
replaced with a 150 amp rated part, pn 952251.
3-Verify 3 phase power is supplied to the power module.(No open input fuses or broken wires)
