SUMMARY: An assembly error may allow a mounting screw to damage the output filter
capacitors.
OPERATIONAL IMPACT: When the screw shorts to the case of the capacitor, arcing can occur
damaging the filter network.
ACTION: Remove the bottom, right, side panel. Locate the output filter assembly (C2-C6).
Inspect the mounting screws used to secure C2-C7 to the holding bracket of the MM250, If the
screw on either end is touching the capacitor it must be replaced with a shorter screw. See
enclosed photographs.
Record the machine serial number and call ESAB Technical Support for replacement screws.
