(A) Move
hairpin clip to
inside hole.
(B) Insert
carriage bolt
and tighten
with wing nut.
Repeat on
opposite side.

starter rope into
rope guide.
(D) Tighten rope
guide wing knob.
(A) Lift handle to
extended position.

top of tank.
Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle
supplied.

Pull recoil starter with quick, full arm stroke.
If engine does not start after ten seconds of
repeated pulls, wait a few minutes and repeat.
