into F6 position.
Pivot upper
handle into
operating
position and
tighten handle
knobs.

Upper Handle
Place chute
assembly
onto chute
adapter.
Close the
three ange
keepers.
Keepers will
click into
place when
properly
secured.
Remove at washer and
hairpin clip. Insert chute
control rod into chute
bracket. Secure with washer
and clip.

Gas Fill
Primer
Throttle
Choke

Oil Fill
Move throttle
control to fast
(rabbit) position.
Activate choke.
Push key into ignition
slot. Be sure ignition
key snaps into place.
Do not turn key.
Fill tank with gas until
fuel reaches the fuel level
indicator.
Check oil level and ll if
necessary.

Push down on starter
button for no more than ve
seconds to start engine.
After starting, disconnect
power cord from outlet
rst and then from snow
thrower. Move choke control
to RUN (off) position.
Electric
Starter
Button
Push primer
three times.
Connect power
cord to electric
starter. Plug other
end of power cord
into a three-prong
120-volt, grounded,
AC receptacle.
If your home wiring system is not a three-wire grounded system,
do not use the electric starter.
