Chute Control Rod

Tighten star knobs.
Pivot handle upward.
Remove at washer and hairpin clip.
Insert chute control rod into bracket as
shown. Secure with washer and clip.
Place chute over base and close ange keepers (3).
Keepers will click into place when properly secured.

Switch Outlet
Connect power cord to switch outlet on engine.
Fill tank with gas to within 1/2 inch of top of tank.
Check oil level and ll if necessary.
Push key into ignition slot. Be sure
ignition key snaps into place.
Rotate choke control to full choke position.
Push primer three times.
Move throttle control to fast (rabbit) position.
Press down on starter button for no more than
ve seconds to start engine. Disconnect power
cord and move choke control to off after starting.
Do not turn key.
