Remove bolts from lower handle.

Attach upper handle to lower handle using

removed hardware. Tighten knobs securely.

Insert tine clutch bail into handle as shown.

Insert Z-ﬁtting on clutch cable into tine clutch bail.

Insert tine clutch bail into handle as shown.

Fill tank with gas to within 1/2 inch of top of tank.

Fill engine with entire contents of oil

bottle supplied with your mower.

Pull starter rope with quick, full arm stroke.

It may take more than one pull to start cold engine.
