Remove bolts and knobs from lower handle.
(1) Attach upper handle to lower handle using
removed hardware. (2) Tighten knobs securely.
Insert tine clutch bail into handle as shown.
Insert Z-tting on clutch cable into tine clutch bail.
Insert tine clutch bail into handle as shown.

Fill tank with fresh gas up to within 1½ inches
below top of fuel tank neck. Do not overll.
Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle.

Push primer ve times.
Pull starter rope with quick, full arm stroke. If engine
does not start after three pulls, repeat steps 8
through 9.
