BLOTZ B20-WW2-100, B20_WW2_100 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I'm here to help you with the assembly of the WWII B20-WW2-100 Sleeping Hut model. I've reviewed the provided instructions, which detail the steps for putting together the walls, steps, roof, and chimneys. I'm ready to answer your questions about this model kit.
  • What kind of glue is needed?
What tool is required to remove parts?
    Can the doors be opened?
20mm WWII Sleeping Hut
B20-WW2-100
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
A full-colour copy of these instructions can be found on our website: www.blotz.co.uk
First remove the two long walls, the two end walls
and the base from the sprue.
NB: The doors can be removed at this point if you
want to be able to open or re-position them.
Glue the walls to the base, with the lugs on the
base slotting into the holes provided in the walls.
Allow to dry.
For each set of steps, remove the four pieces
shown above (left) from the sprue. Glue together
as shown on the right.
Glue the steps into position by each of the doors.
Remove the two roof sections and the three
supports from the sprue. Glue the supports to the
back of one roof piece as shown above. Once dry,
attach the other side of the roof to the supports.
Each of the six chimneys is formed from the four
pieces shown above (left). Glue together as shown
on the right. Note the chimney on the right is
resting upside down so that it is easier to construct.
Glue a pair of shutters by each window – either
open (as shown), or across the window if you wish
a shutter to be closed.
Finally, glue the chimneys onto the roof.
