MAINTENANCE ADJUSTMENTS

Check:

A. that the humidifier fill and the droplet eliminator are correctly fitted

for the direction of air flow. See the arrows.

B. that there are no water leaks at any of the couplings and

connections.

C. that water is being discharged from all holes in the spray pipe or

pipes. If any holes are clogged, use a needle to unclog them. If the

spray pipe(s) is/are extremely clogged, remove the end plugs, item

8, and clean inside the spray pipes using a round brush and then

flush them clean.

The water flow with the pulse valve open is:

600 mm broad fill 90%, 8 l/minute.

600 mm broad fill 60%, 4 l/minute.

Water consumption as shown in the table1. If the water flow is

incorrect, the constant-flow valve may be clogged. See ”Clean the

constant-flow valve” (12) on page 2.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Drain and clean the water tray whenever the system is shut down

for an extended period, such as during the annual holiday and long

weekends.

If the humidifier is to be out of service for some time, the humidifier fills

should be removed, cleaned and stored in a place where they will not

sustain damage.

CLEANING THE HUMIDIFIER FILLS AND DROPLET ELIMINATOR

A. Shut off the water supply.

B. Open the inspection door.

C. Withdraw the droplet eliminator and the humidifier fills straight out

of the humidifier as shown in Fig. 2.

Important!

The internal fills can be reached by carefully stepping inside on the

edge of the basin. Do not step on the guides or the bottom of the

basin.

D. The fills are relatively delicate and should accordingly be handled

with great care. Clean by spraying with a jet of clean water, possibly

containing a cleaning agent such as LQROKRAFT L (Elektrolux).

E. Refit the components in the reverse order.

F. Check the position of the side walls and close the inspection door.

When replacing humidifier blocks, separate instructions are supplied

for the new blocks.

CLEANING THE CONSTANT-FLOW VALVE

A. Remove the valve

B. Check that the rubber membrane is free from contamination. If

necessary, clean carefully.

C. Refit the valve and check the water flow.
