Condition on delivery
The heat exchanger is filled at the factory with the heat
transfer medium and is provided with plugged connec-
tions for venting, filling and drainage. The heat transfer
medium consists of water with 30% ethylene glycol addi-
tive to serve as an anti-freeze agent.
Description
The pipework of pressure vessel-rated design is connected
across flat gaskets directly to the heat exchangers. The
pipework package is insulated with 10 mm thick
ARMAFLEX insulation to prevent frosting.
The three-way valve with actuator provides max. effici-
ency and prevents frost from forming on the heat
exchanger for exhaust air.
A flow adjustment valve with measurement connec-
tions is installed for adjusting the duty point of the pump
to the correct flow setting depending on the flow range
selected.
The anti-freeze controller is incorporated in the anti-
freeze sensor. The controller emits a 0–10 V input signal
to the valve actuator. 24 V ac power must be supplied to
the actuator and the anti-freeze controller. The trans-
former is not included. Two shut-off valves are fitted, one
before the suction side and the other after the delivery
side of the pump.
The temperature of the heat transfer medium must be
regulated by an external controller (0...10 V), not in-
cluded in the supply.
