IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Shut off the
poweratthecircuitbreakerandcompletelyremovetheoldxturefromtheceiling,including
theoldmountingstrap.
1.Fromthepartsbagremovethemountingstrapassembly.Oneendofnipple(F)shouldbe
attachedtomountingstrap(A)withwasherandhexnut(CandD)inplace.Theotherend
shouldhavecanopyloop(H)attached.Attachmountingstrap(A)tothejunctionboxusing
mountingscrews(B)andascrewdriver.Tightensecurely.
2. Unscrew canopy loop collar (I) from canopy loop (H). Pass canopy (G) over the mounted
canopylooptotesttheheight.Approximatelyhalfofthecanopyloop’sexteriorthreadsshould
be exposed, and the canopy loop collar should t snugly onto the canopy loop. Remove
canopy(G)andadjusttheheightofnipple(F)andcanopyloop(H)untilthedesiredheightis
reached.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
3.Decorativerod(N)isonthexture’swires,butnotattachedtothexture.Hookthebottom
of decorative rod (N) into top loop (L) and pull the wires until taut.
4. By measuring, determine the correct number of chain links needed for proper hanging
height.Ifnecessary,useapairofplierstoopenandremoveanyexcesschain.
5.Attachchainconnectors(K)toeachendofchain(J)beforeattachingoneendofthechain
connector/chain to the top of decorative rod (N). Close the chain connector. Connect the
other chain connector (K) to canopy loop (H).
6.Passthe xture’swiresupthroughchain(J) (everythreelinks orso). Slidecanopy loop
collar (I) and canopy (G) onto the chain/wire.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

CONNECTING THE WIRES
7.Haveanassistantsupporttheweightofthexturewhilecompletingthewiring.Cutaway
excess wire. Threadthe xture’s wiresthrough canopyloop (H) andnipple (F). Attach the
xture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(or
smooth);whitetowhite(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthe
wirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsareinthesame
direction.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)comingfromthejunctionbox,locate
groundscrew(E)onmountingstrap(A)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreen
groundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothemountingbracket.
Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.

8.Pushcanopy(G)uptotheceilingand
slide canopy loop collar (I) up beneath
thecanopy.Tightlythreadcanopyloop
collar (I) onto canopy loop (H) to secure
canopy (G) in place.

Install a light bulb (not provided) in accordance with the xture’s specications. Do not exceed the maximum recommended
wattage.
