IMPORTANT:
• ALL INSTALLATION WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL.
• SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
• USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Shut off
thepoweratthecircuitbreakerandcompletelyremovetheoldxturefromtheceiling,
includingtheoldmountingstrap.
1.Fromthepartsbagremovethemountingstrapassembly.Oneendofnipple(F)should
beattachedtomountingstrap(A)withwasherandhexnut(CandD)inplace.Theother
endshouldhavecanopyloop(H)attached.Attachmountingstrap(A)tothejunctionbox
usingmountingscrews(B)andascrewdriver.Tightensecurely.
2. Unscrew canopy loop collar (I) from canopy loop (H). Pass canopy (G) over the mounted
canopylooptotesttheheight.Approximatelyhalfofthecanopyloop’sexteriorthreads
shouldbeexposed,andthecanopyloopcollarshouldtsnuglyontothecanopyloop.
Remove canopy (G) and adjust the height of nipple (F) and canopy loop (H) until the
desiredheightisreached.
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
3. Thread center rod (Q) onto post (S). Slide the top of center rod (Q) into the center of
xturebody(O).Threadwasher(P)andtoploop(L)ontopost(M)ofrod(Q).
4.Bymeasuring,determinethecorrectnumberofchainlinksneededforproperhanging
height.Ifnecessary,useapairofplierstoopenandremoveanyexcesschain.Attach
chain connectors (K) to each end of chain (J) before attaching one end of the chain
connector/chain to top loop (L). Close the chain connector. Connect the other chain
connector (K) to canopy loop (H).
5.Feedthexture’swiresupthroughtoploop(L)andthenthroughchain(J)(everythree
links or so). Slide canopy loop collar (I) and canopy (G) onto the chain/wire.
CONNECTING THE WIRES
6.Haveanassistantsupporttheweightofthexturewhilecompletingthewiring.Cut
away excess wire. Thread the xture’s wires through canopy loop (H) and nipple (F).
Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblack
toblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twist
theendsofthewirepairstogether, and then twist on a wireconnector. Make sureall
twistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)comingfrom
thejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E) onmountingstrap(A)andwrapthexture’s
ground wire around the green ground screw (E). Use a screwdriver to secure ground
screw(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
7. Push canopy (G) up to the ceiling and slide canopy loop collar (I) up beneath the
canopy.Tightlythreadcanopyloopcollar(I)ontocanopyloop(H)tosecurecanopy(G)
in place.

Installlightbulbs(T-notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.
Donotexceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
