Description
EOC-101-P are a compact pair of Ethernet LAN
extenders, over traditional coaxial cable infrastructure,
that also supports remote power feeding and power
splitting along with high speed Ethernet transmission.
Power feeding eliminates the need for any extra power
line provisioning at the remote device.
The EOC-101-P is an excellent solution for remotely
connected IP cameras, WiFi access points, digital signage
and even low port count Ethernet switches. By eliminating
the need for expensive and sometimes prohibitive power
wiring at the remote, significant savings can be realized
while installation is made less complex. Just connect the
coaxial cable between devices, attach the LAN cables and
apply external power at the local side only.

Installation
EOC-101-P must be used in local/remote pairs. Place the
EOC-101L-P at the local location where AC power is available.
Place the EOC-101R-P unit at the remote location or where no
AC power is available. Connect the two units via coaxial cable
(RG-6 recommended) terminated with F-type connectors. At the
remote location, connect the Ethernet device to the LAN port of
EOC-101R-P unit and connect the device's power to one of the
EOC-101R-P's 12V DC Out connectors. The load must not
exceed 12watts. At the local site, connect the LAN port of the
EOC-101L-P to an uplink Ethernet switch. WITHOUT AC POWER
CONNECTED, connect the power adapter to the DC In connector.
Make sure all connections are secure first, then lastly plug the AC
adapter to mains AC power source (100-240VAC).
