5. Connect the sensor to the pH transmitter,
using a cable with VP (Vario Pin) connector.

5 Calibration and measurement
InPro4010sensorsrequire 2-pointcalibration.The
sensoristhendippedinsuccessionintotwodifferent
buffersolutionswithgivenpHreferencevaluesandthe
transmittercalibratedtothesebuffervalues.Please
refertotheinstructionmanualofthetransmitterfor
details.
6 Maintenance
Thesensorwithpolymerelectrolytecannotberelled.
Thesensormustnotbestoreddry.Intheeventthat
the sensor dries out, it is necessary to recondition
it before use by immersion in FRISCOLYT™ (Order
No.51340053)foratleast24hours.InPro4010
sensors should be stored with tted watering cap
containingFRISCOLYT.Aftereachworkingcycle,the
sensortipandtheapertures(diaphragms)mustbe
thoroughlycleanedusingdeionizedwater.
7 Removal of dirt and residue
1. Sluggish response time. Theglass membrane
canbereactivatedusingaHFsolution(OrderNo.
51319053).Onlythatsectionofthesensortip
below the two (diaphragms) apertures may be
immersed in theHFsolution, and this duringa
periodofabout5minutes.Immediatelya f terwards,
rinse the sensor thoroughly and immerse in
FRISCOLYTforatleast12hours.
2. Insufcient sensitivity (slope). Check the
aperturesforcontaminationandrinsewithwarm
water. Check the VP connector for traces of
moisture.Ifnecessary,cleanwellusingdeionized
wateroralcohol,andafterwardsdrycarefully.
8 Environmental protection
Waste electrical products should not be
disposed of with household waste. Please
recyclewherefacilitiesexist.Checkwithyour
LocalAuthorityorretailerforrecyclingadvice.
9 Guarantee
Onmanufacturingdefects,12monthsafterdelivery.
