*Note:
The stop pin is factory set for a LEFT side mounted console
(patient’s left). Only move the stop pin if you are installing a
RIGHT side mounted console.

Step 1: Install assistant’s unit on console.
A) Raise chair to a comfortable working height.
B) Disconnect power from chair.
C) Remove console side cover (magnetic on Elevance).
D) Loosen bottom screw and remove inside console cover.
Procenter console only: loosen two screws and slide off faceplate.
E) Install three leveling set screws.
F) Install three mounting screws.
G) Position mounting arm straight out from console.
H) Rotate ADAPTER clockwise before loosely installing mounting screws.
Do Not Tighten mounting screws.
WARNING
Always disconnect power before removing covers. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.

Step 2: Route the assistant’s umbilical into the console.
Note: Take care not to kink the umbilical.

Step 3: Level the console mount arm.
A) Adjust the three leveling screws until arm is level.
B) Tighten the mounting screws.

Connect gound wire to ensure system ground continuity
Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
Step 4: Make electrical connections inside console.
A) Position electrical connections where the console cover can be installed
over them and screw ground wire to console frame.
B) Adhere LIN coupler inside console with velcro strips. Connect LIN lines
from chair and assistant’s unit.
C) Connect vacuum power to relay harness in the chair umbilical.

Note
Tubing and connectors are provided for connecting a
delivery unit and an assistant’s unit. Leave connectors
capped if you are not installing these components.
An additional 1/8" piece of blue tubing is provided that can
be used to connect to a city water supply.
Step 5: Connect like colored tubing for all installed components.

Step 5a: Cut 1/8” yellow tubing. Insert T-Fitting. Connect to
1/8” yellow tubing from European Assistant’s Unit.

Step 5b: Connect European Assistant’s Unit vacuum
tubing to 3/4” ribbed gray vacuum line from
umbilical.
In J-Box (not shown): Connect 3/4” ribbed
gray vacuum line from umbilical to facility’s
central vacuum line.

Step 5c: Remove plugged section of blue tubing.

Step 6: Make connections in J-Box.
A) Remove J-box lid. Connect relay harness to the vacuum power relay box (located in the
installation hardware kit).
B) Have an electrician connect facility power to the vacuum relay box and place relay box inside
the J-box.
C) Connect tubing to facility air and water supplies as shown.

Step 7: If no other components are to be installed, finish installation by installing covers.
A) Install J-box lid to cover all tubing and wiring connections.
B) Install console side covers. (Refer to Step 1.)
Note: Be careful not to pinch or kink tubing or wires when installing covers.

Installation Checklist
Test Verify the following:

Mounting arm and assistant’s unit are level, rotate
and move easily.
2
Air and water work at syringe. Flow control knobs
adjust flow as expected.
3
Vacuum instruments work as expected.
Solids collector basket is in place.
4
Wipe console and assistant’s unit with a soft dry
cloth to remove dirt or smudges.
5 Curing light (optional) works.
Step 8: Connect chair to power supply.
A) Connect power supply to facility power.
B) Verify operation of the European assistant’s unit.
