Step 1: Raise chair to a comfortable working height. (Chair should
be at least 10"- 15“ above floor.)

Tap a lift arm or lower pivot cover three times to raise
the chair to the pre-programmed “home” position; a
convenient height for installation or patient access.
The chair beeps until it reaches the home position.

Removing the Lift Arm Covers

Step 3: Push in with a screwdriver to release the clip on each side
and pull up to remove the top lift arm cover.
Note: top lift arm cover has a clip that fits over the dowel rod on the front of the chair.

Step 4: The bottom lift cover hangs from four mounting pins on the
chair frame. Pull cover out to free from mounting pins, then
back as you maneuver the cover off the chair frame.

Installing the Rear Mounted Assistant’s Unit
Equipment Alert
Have an assistant support the mount arm and steady all
pivot points to prevent damage to the equipment.
Step 5: Mount the Assistant’s assembly on the chair
pivot using four hex head screws and washers.
Step 6: With the hex head screws tightened
loosely, turn the four set screws to
level the mount arm assembly with
respect to the floor.

Step 7: Also level the mount arm assembly
with respect to the mounting holes by
lifting one side or the other.
Step 8: Once mount arm is level, in both
respects, tighten all four hex
screws to secure.

Additional Wiring Connections Required for an Installation without a Delivery Unit
Step 12: Remove seat upholstery, seat shrouds and the
seat frame to access the toe-end of the chair.
Step 13: Install Procenter Interface PCB and mounting
bracket in the chair.

Step 18: Install upper pivot cover (two screws in chair pivot).

Test Verify the following:
1 Mount arm and assistant’s unit are level.
2 Mount arm and assistant’s unit rotate and move easily.

Mount arm stays where placed without drifting. Adjust drag
on pivot point if necessary.

Lift arm covers are in place and limit switches activate when
covers are tapped.

Chair pivot covers are securely in place and the limit switch
activates when cover lowers into an obstruction.

Instruments work on the assistant’s unit - no wires or tubing
are pinched by covers or mountings.

Wipe assistant’s unit with a soft dry cloth to remove any dirt
or smudges.
