VARIABLE CAPACITY
This washing machine automatically adapts the water level to the type and quantity of clothes
to be washed. So it is possible to obtain a «customised» wash, even in terms of energy. This
system reduces water and energy consumption and provides an appreciable reduction in
wash time.
PROGRAMME SELECTION
To select a programme:
• Programmes are selected by means of the corresponding control knob (A). See the
table of programmes.
• Select the spin speed by means of the corresponding control knob.
• Select the different options available by pressing the corresponding buttons.
• Hold down the On/Pause button until one of the lamps on the programme phase
display lights up.
• Due to the design of the electronic washing machine, the programme may take up to
one minute to start up after one of the programme phase lamps lights up.

USING THE SELECTORS
A
. PROGRAMME/TEMPERATURE SELECTOR
To select the desired washing temperature/programme, turn
this selector until the number or symbol for the programme
desired is opposite the guide mark (p). Temperature selection
depends on the programme selected.
For programme selection, see the table of programmes/
temperatures (P) on the panel.
To modify settings or change programmes once the
programme has started,
proceed as follows:
- Press the start/pause button until the pilot light showing the end of the program phase
cicle lights up.
- Release the button. After a few seconds the lamp on the display will go out.
- Select the desired programme.
- Hold down On/Pause again until one of the lamps on the programme phase display
lights up.
- The machine will then run through the new programme selected.
To
add more clothes during a programme, proceed as follows:
- Hold down On/Pause until one of the lamps on the programme phase display flashes.
- Wait until the Door Secure indicator goes out, open the door and add more clothes to
the wash.

T
. TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
This displays the temperature for the programme selected.
t
. PROGRAMME PHASE DISPLAY
This displays the current phase throughout the programme
selected.
USING THE SELECTORS
C
. SPIN SELECTOR
To select the spin speed, turn the selector until the mark for
the desired rpm is opposite the guide mark (p).
The final spin for resistant fabrics (indicated as COTTON)
will be at the selected speed.
In programmes for synthetic fabrics (SYNTHETICS)
intermediate spins are at 400 rpm, and the final spin is at 800
rpm.
In the DELICATES programme there are no intermediate
spins, and the final spin is at 400 rpm.
In the WOOL programmes (30º and Cold Wash) there are no
intermediate spins, and the final spin is at 800 rpm.
For specific programmes:
The 32’ programme runs one intermediate spin at 400 rpm and a final spin at 800 rpm.
In the program HAND WASH there is no spin-dry during the washing phases and the
final spin-dry is done at 800 rpm.
To cut out spinning altogether, match the No Spin symbol to the guide mark.
THIS CONTROL CAN BE TURNED BOTH WAYS
D
. SUPER FAST BUTTON
Press this button to cut machine programme times to a maximum of 50 minutes
(depending on the programme and wash temperature selected). This button
can be used with washes between 1 and 4.5 kg.
E
. EASY-IRON BUTTON
This button works in all programmes except the 32-minute cycle.
It can be used to minimise wrinkling of fabrics during wash programmes.
The results obtained differ with each programme:
In programmes for COTTON, pressing this button will cause the machine to
stop on the last rinse, leaving clothes soaking in water.
To complete the programme and spin the clothes, press the button again to
release it.
In programmes for SYNTHETICS, pressing this button will cut out the
intermediate spins and perform only one final spin at low sped, thus minimising
the stress suffered by fabrics.
In programmes for DELICATES, WOOL and HAND WASHES, pressing button
will cause the machine to stop on the last rinse, leaving clothes soaking in
water.
To complete the programme and spin the clothes, press the button again to
release it.
Do not press this button if the “energetic spin” (cotton) programme is
selected.
F
. SUPER RINSE BUTTON
Press this button to eliminate every last trace of soap powder from fabrics by
rinsing with more water.

2. Automatic bleaching is available on the COTTON (90º WHITE and 60º FAST COLOURS)
programmes: add bleach in the compartment marked .
3. The machine is designed to release fabric softener automatically in the last rinse of all
washing cycles.
4. Programme times are approximate, and may vary up or down according to temperature
selected, quantity and type of load, conditions of installation (water temperature, ambient
temperature, mains water pressure, etc.).
32 MINUTE FAST WASH
This fast wash programme runs through a complete
washing cycle for up to 2 kg of clothes at a temperature
of 50º in just 32 minutes.
The soap powder must be put into the pre-wash
