Unlock and open active sash.

Align end of straight operator arm with arrow on operator channel. Push down on
operator arm to release from operator channel.
Sash must be fully supported
during piano hinge screw removal.
Unsupported sash will fall out and
may cause personal injury and/or
property/product damage.
Remove screws fastening piano hinge to side jamb and save for reuse.

Releasing operator arm allows
sash to swing freely. Sash may
suddenly swing out and break free
causing injury and/or product
damage. Support sash during
entire replacement process.

Hold sash rmly and remove from window
frame. Place sash on a clean, at surface
with interior side facing up.

Removal of the upper or lower corner gears requires the removal of the lock extension. Remove four (4) screws along the body of the
lock extension using a drill/driver and save for reuse.

Remove two (2) screws from lock tabs at each end of lock
extension. Slide lock tabs away to expose ends of lock
extension.

For lower corner gear replacement, proceed to Step 9.
For upper corner gear replacement, proceed to Step 18.

Remove handle receiver plate screws and handle receiver plate
and save for reuse.

Position side cam lock toward bottom of sash and bottom cam
lock toward center of sash on the new lower corner gear.

Fasten bottom of lower corner gear using saved screw.

using saved screws.
Proceed to Step 27 to reapply lock
extension.

Remove upper corner gear and ller. Save ller for reuse.
Properly dispose of upper corner gear.

Remove three (3) screws securing top of upper corner gear and
save for reuse. Slide lock tab toward side of sash.
Remove screw securing upper corner gear ller and save for reuse.

Position top cam lock toward side of sash and side cam lock
toward bottom of sash on the new upper corner gear.
