Secure cables to lower handle with cable tie
provided with unit.

Hold blade control handle against upper handle.
Slowly slip recoil starter into rope guide.
Tighten rope guide wing knob.
Refer to Operator’s Manual for instructions on attaching the grass catcher.

Lift handle to extended position.
Tighten star knobs.

Move hairpin clip to inside hole. Insert carriage bolt
and tighten with wing nut. Repeat on opposite side.

Depress blade control handle and hold.

Pull recoil starter with quick, full armstroke. If engine
does not start after ten seconds of repeated pulls, wait
a few minutes and repeat steps 8 through 9.
Fill tank with gas to within 1/2 inch of top of tank.
Open fuel valve.

Fill engine with oil to upper limit of dipstick. Check
oil level by inserting (and not threading) dipstick
into ller neck.
