A. Power Supply Installation
1. The power supply module mounts in the enclosure as specified on the enclosure
schedule and is available as a single power supply or dual (two) in one module. Each
power supply requires a maximum 5 amps of input power from the circuit breaker panel.
2. Do not put more than 4 power supplies on one circuit. Please refer to enclosure
schedule for locations of the power supplies.
B. Power Supply Requirements for LV Relay Module
1. One power supply will drive a maximum of 10
LV Relay modules.
2. Use two 16 gauge wires for power supply connections. A power supply connector is
provided with each
LV Relay module.
Make sure positive is connected to positive, etc.
C. Power Supply Requirements for CCU & Stations
1. All stations
and data-inputs
are connected parallel to the CCU. The power supply connection for stations are made inside the CCU.
2. Run two 16 gauge wires for each power supply. Connection is made to one of the available “Station” Terminals on the
CCU. Do not connect more than one power supplies to one Station Port.
3. Standard and Compact CCUs require connection to power supply module. CCU must be within 50’ of power supply
4. Each keypad terminat at the CCU requires a power supply in order for the keypad(s) on that Terminal port to operate. In small systems,
jumping the power supply at the CCU is acceptable.
5. One non-backlit Keypad draws a max of 65 mA by default, one backlit Keypad draws a max of 150 mA by default (because of the
backlit engraving). See LiteTouch specification sheets for variation based upon keypad style.
