Caution
DO Adhere to all National and Local Plumbing and Electrical Safety Codes.
DO Turn “off” incoming electrical service switches when servicing, installing, or

performed with a wrench to ensure a quality seal.
DO Inspect pressure on Regulators before starting up equipment.
DO Protect eyes when working around refrigerants.
DO Use caution when handling metal surface edges of all equipment.
DO Handle CO2 cylinders and gauges with care — secure cylinders properly against
abrasion.
DO Store CO2 cylinders in well ventilated areas.
DO NOT Store CO2 cylinders in temperature above 125°F (51.7°C) near furnaces, radiator or

Equipment Installation Instructions
Installation (see cover illustrations and Figure
1 below)
1. For P.N. 206788, position the CO2 Control Panel on
front of unit or an appropriate mounting surface about
5 ft. (1.5 m) from the beverage syrup supply. Mark the
mounting holes at top and bottom of the panel and
secure the panel with appropriate fasteners.
For P.N. 215757, mount pressure regulator and
changeover valve on unit using four (4) #10-32 x
1
/2
screws. If there is not a place for acceptable mounting
on unit, place components on a mounting surface
about 5 ft. (1.5 m) from syrup supply using template
for hole location.
2. For P.N. 215757, a copper tube must now be attached
from the regulator to the CO2 changeover valve.
3. Route the 20 ft. (6.1 m) line from the pressure regulator
and attach it to the Bag-In-Box pumps.
4. Install the high pressure regulators on the CO2 tanks.
Connect the CO2 gas lines to the high pressure regula-
tors. Attach the opposite ends of these lines to the CO2
changeover valve (see figure 1). Do not turn “on” CO2
tank regulators at this time.
5. Connect the CO2 gas supply line from carbonator tank
to the cross fitting on the control panel changeover
valve assembly.
6. Test the system for leaks by opening the CO
2 tanks
shut-off valves. Allow the system to pressurize. Adjust
the regulators at the CO2 tanks to 90 psi (6.2 bar). Set
the pressure regulator to 60 psi (4.1 bar). Now turn the
CO2 tank valves to the “off” position. The CO2 tank
gauge should remain constant, no drop in pressure. If
the pressure drops, locate the leak and repair it.
7. For export units only connect power cord as follows
(Power cord not supplied):
a. Attach ring terminal supplied to green/yellow
conductor and attach to ground screw pro-
vided (6-32 self threading).
b. Attach 0.250 quick connect to brown wire
and attach to open terminal on pressure switch.
c. Attach blue wire to transformer lead with wire
nut provided.
8. On P.N. 206788 connect CO
2 alarm power cord into
120 volt outlet or connect P.N. 217141 to 220 volt
supply.
Note: The CO2 alarm will sound and illuminate the lamp
when the CO2 pressure drops below 70 psi (4.8 bar) and
shut-off when the pressure is returned to 90 psi (6.2 bar).
