To Avoid Serious Injury
DO Adhere to all National and Local Plumbing and Electrical Safety Codes.
DO Turn “OFF” incoming electrical service switches when servicing, installing, or repairing equipment.
DO Check that all flare fittings on the carbonation tank(s) are tight. This check should be performed with a wrench to ensure a
quality seal.
DO Inspect pressure on Regulators before starting up equipment.
DO Use caution when handling metal surface edges of all equipment.
DO Handle CO
2 cylinders and gauges with care. Secure cylinders properly against abrasion.
DO Store CO2 cylinder(s) in well ventilated areas.
DO NOT Throw or drop a CO
2 cylinder. Secure the cylinder(s) in an upright position with a chain.
DO NOT Connect the CO2 cylinder(s) directly to the product container. Doing so will result in an explosion causing possible death or
injury. Best to connect the CO2 cylinder(s) to a regulator(s).
DO NOT Store CO
2 cylinders in temperature above 125°F (51.7°C) near furnaces, radiator or sources of heat.
DO NOT Release CO2 gas from old cylinder.
Installing CO2 Control Kit
1. Position CO2 Control Panel on Refrigeration Unit, or an
appropriate mounting surface about 5 ft. from beverage
supply. Mark the mounting holes at top and bottom of
panel and secure panel with fasteners.
2. Cut and route the appropriate length of beverage line from
Fountain Pressure Regulator and attach to Fountain Bag-In-
Box pumps.
3. Cut and route the appropriate length of beverage lines from
Freezoni Pressure Regulator with a barb tee and attach to
Freezoni Carbonator Tank and to the Freezoni Bag-In-Box
pumps.
4. Cut and route the appropriate length of beverage line
from Tea Pressure Regulator and attach to Tea Bag-In-
Box pumps.
5. Install High Pressure Regulator on CO
2 tank. Cut and
route the appropriate length of beverage line from High
Pressure Regulator to the tank CO
2 gas fitting on
Changeover Valve #1 on Panel as shown in Figure 1.
6. Cut and route the appropriate length of beverage line
from Bulk CO
2 source to the Bulk CO2 gas fitting on
Changeover Valve #1 on Panel as shown in Figure 1.
7. Cut and route the appropriate length of beverage line
from Air Pump/Tank to the Air Pump and Tank inlet fitting
on Changeover Valve #2 on Panel as shown in Figure 1.
8. Check for leaks and set regulator pressure appropriately.
