1 Electrical connection
Qualified personnel must perform installation, service and fault-finding of all electrical
equipment in accordance with the applicable national and international standard EN 60204-
1 and any other EU standards that are applicable in Europe.
The installation of a power supply isolator is required for each motor and power supply to
facilitate voltage-free work on the electrical equipment. SKOV A/S does not supply the
power supply isolator.
Rotating fan blade will cut and crush. Disconnect 230/400 V AC supply.
2 Open the shutters manual or electrical
Press on the manual release button to turn the arms
on the shutter motor.
3 Disconnect the wire to the shutter motor

4 Mounting guide
4.1 Dismount the shutter motor
4.2 Mount the bracket on the center pillar
Place the bracket on the center pillar.
Mount the bracket on the center pillar using:
• 2 M6x60 screws
• 4 Ø18 washers
• 2 50 mm bushings
• 4 9 mm rubber bushings
• 2 M6 self-locking nuts
4.3 Mount the shutter bracket
Mount the shutter bracket on the shutter inner hole
using:
• 1 M6x20 screw
• 2 Ø18 washers
• 1 Ø25 washer
• 1 11.6 mm bushing
• 1 M6 self-locking nut

Place a spirit level on the shutter bracket.
Mark the outer hole.
Drill a 10 mm hole in the shutter bracket.
Mount the shutter bracket on the drilled shutter hole
using:
• 1 M6x20 screw
• 2 Ø18 washers
• 1 Ø25 washer
• 1 11.6 mm bushing
• 1 M6 self-locking nut
4.4 Mount the actuator on the bracket
Mount the actuator on the center pillar bracket using:
• 1 M6x30 screw
• 2 Ø18 washers
• 1 22 mm bushing
• 1 M6 self-locking nut
Mount the actuator on the shutter bracket using:
• 1 Pipe pin 10x40 mm A2
• 1 Ø21 plastic washer

4.5 Guide the cables from actuators

Drill a 10 mm hole in the bottom of the ventilation
duct.
Guide the two cables through the hole.
Fasten the cables to the center pillar with two cable
ties.

5 Installation guide
5.1 Connect the actuators to the existing system
Mount a connection box next to the ventilation duct
inside or outside.
5.2 Connection box dual actuator
Actuator voltage = 24 V DC.
Actuator current = Max. 1,4 A.
10 – 12 sec. full-stroke travel time.
Be aware of the higher actuator current, 1,4 A.
24 V DC power supply and wires must be resized.
