PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The DOL 2400 kit includes various parts for installation in a wiring box.
Please follow the below mounting and installation guide.
1 Electrical Connection
Qualified personnel must perform installation, service and fault-finding of all electrical
equipment in accordance with the applicable national and international standard EN 60204-1
and any other EU standards that are applicable in Europe.
The installation of a power supply isolator is required for each motor and power supply to
facilitate voltage-free work on the electrical equipment. SKOV A/S does not supply the power
supply isolator.
2 Mounting the Modules
1. Mount the battery shelf, power supply and main module included on the TS 35 DIN rails (not included)
which are mounted with a distance of 205 mm. At the power supply the distance must be 112.5 mm.
2. Mount clips including 15 mm stud on the DIN rails and adapt position to the modules. Use M4 x 8
screws to mount the modules.
3. Mount 22 mm stud using M4 x 8 to support main module.

4 Safety Distance from the Battery
Relays, contactors, miniature circuit breaker and the like with built-in contact must be positioned
at least 200 mm from the battery as they can ignite battery gas. Ventilation openings must be
available in the top and the bottom of the wiring box to remove battery gas, if any.

6 Cable Installation
The flat cable included are fastened to the bottom section of the wiring box by means of self-adhesive clip and
cable ties.
Please note:
1. Keep a distance of minimum 5 mm between ribbon cables and other wires
2. The cable ties are not to be tightened around cables and wires (only intended to keep them in place).
3. Do not run wires over or under the modules.
4. Run the wires connected to the relay terminals as close as possible to the main module. This way, the
greatest possible distance is obtained to the adjacent modules.

7 Contact-Voltage Proof
The modules can be made contact-voltage proof by mounting clips including 110 mm stud on a TS 35 DIN rail.
On this you mount a transparent protection plate (not included) by means of M4 x 14 screws.

8 Mounting the CPU Front Module
Mount the front module in the door of the wiring box by means of (self-tapping) PT 4 x 10 screws.
The thickness of the door must be at least 1.5 mm.
Make the cutout in the door in accordance with the enclosed DOL 2400 template 604224 (from the front of the
door).

9 Ventilation Openings in the Door
Make ventilation openings at the top and at the bottom of the front door of the wiring box in line with the
battery to ensure good ventilation in the wiring box so that battery gas, if any, is removed.
Each ventilation opening must be minimum (200 cm2) 20.000 mm2.
