(A) Lift handle
to extended
position.
(B) Tighten
star knobs.
Recoil
Starter
Star Knobs
Place ends of
lower handle
onto handle
brackets. Insert
carriage bolts
and tighten
with wing nuts.

top of tank.
Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle
supplied.

Depress blade control handle and hold.

Pull starter rope with quick, full arm stroke.
If engine does not start after ten seconds of
repeated pulls, wait a few minutes and repeat
steps 7 through 8.
