Daylight Adjustments
ThedaylightingfeaturepreventsthelightsfromturningONwhentheroom
isadequatelyilluminatedbynaturallight.Ifthereisenoughlightintheroom
regardlessofoccupancy,thesensorwillholdthelightsOFF.Ifthereisnotenough
lightintheroom,thesensorwillallowthelightstoturnONwhenoccupied.The
sensorwillnotallowthedaylightingfeaturetoturntheloadOFFuntilthespaceis
vacantorthelightlevelrisesabovethesetpointandtheTimeDelayexpires.While
inManualActivationMode,ifsomeoneattemptstoturntheloadONandthereis
sufficientdaylightavailablethe
daylightingfeaturewillholdthelightsOFF.
1. Setthelightlevelwhentheambientlightisatthelevelwherenoartificial
lightisneeded.Ifthisfeatureisnotneeded,leavethelightlevelat
maximum.(fullyCW)
2. Withtheload(s)ON,putthesensorintoTestMode.ToplaceintoTestMode,
toggleDIPSwitch8outofitscurrentposition,wait3secondsandthenback
intoitsoriginalposition.
3. SettheLightleveltominimum.(fullyCCW)
4. LetthesensortimeoutsolightsareOFF.EnterthespaceandlightsshouldremainOFF.
5. MakesurenottoblockthesensorfromthedaylightsourceandadjustthelightlevelpotentiometerCWinsmall
increments.Pause5secondsbetweeneachadjustment)
6. LightswillnotturnONuponoccupancyactivation,whentheambientlightlevelexceedsthedaylightthresholdsetting.
Time Delay Adjustments
PeoplewhoremainverystillforlongperiodsoftimemayneedalongerTimeDelaythanthedefaultsettingof10
minutes.Aslongastheself-adjustingfeatureisenabled,theswitchwillrespondtoeachpairofFalse-offswithno
normaloffinbetween,byalternatelymakingslightadjustmentsto
eitherTimeDelay(by2minuteincrements)orsensitivity,sothere
should
benoneedformanualadjustment.Ifmanualadjustmentis
desired,refertoTimeDelaysettingsinDIPSwitchlegend.
ResetsensorTimeDelaytofactorysettingsbymovingDIP

Sensorisshippedinself-adjustmode.ThisappliestoTimeDelay,USandPIRsensitivity.Inpreparationforthe
InstallerTest,theTimeDelayissetto15seconds,afterthesensorisinstalled,poweredONandhasstabilized,the
unitwillTime-out15secondsafterthelastmotiondetected.Coverageandsensitivitycanbeconfirmedbywatching
theRed(PIR)indicatorLEDonthefrontofthesensor,whilemovingaroundtheroom.
