Screen Innovations Décora Flying Brackets are a great way to mount your Solo/Pro 2 screen from the ceiling. They are easy to install and can be used with screens up to 100 lbs. The brackets are made of steel and have a black powder-coated finish. They come with a 1/16" x 96" steel cable and all the necessary hardware.

The Décora Flying Brackets are designed to be installed into structural members such as ceiling joists or studs. They can be spaced 2"-8" from the ends of the cassette and can be adjusted vertically and horizontally to ensure that the screen is level and plumb.

INITIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Plan your installation. Determine the length of your
cassette and the centerline of your viewing area to
make sure that you can install the brackets 2''- 8'' from
the end of the cassette.
Standard kits come with 2 Décora Flying Bracket
assemblies. Each bracket can hold 50 lbs safely. For
screens over 100 lbs, a third bracket is required.
Use appropriate fasteners. Wood screws are provided
for mounting into wood studs only. If another
mounting surface is to be used; then it is the installer's
responsibility to provide approriate fasteners.

Proper mounting preparation will ensure a great
installation. Mounting brackets must be screwed into
structural members of such as ceiling joists. You may
use wood screws provided, or other anchors (not
provided) capable of carrying the load, that is suitable
to the substrate.
DO NOT MOUNT TO HOLLOW SHEET ROCK.
Install D́cora Flying Brackets
1. Determine the desired viewing area with vertical
centerline of the projected viewing area.
2. The Décora Flying brackets must be installed 2"- 8"
from each end of the cassette. Measure the overall
length of the cassette to determine the min. and
max. horizontal spacing of the mounts. Mark the
location of the desired location of the brackets.

3. Run the provided cable through the top plates and
install the top plates to structural supports. Each
bracket & cable is capable of supporting up to 50 lbs.
4. Position the brackets on the cassette so that they
will be in line with the hanging cables.
5. Loosen the set screw in the brackets so that the
cassette hook is positioned all the way down.

6. Hook the cassette onto the bracket. Then use the
5/64'' hex key to turn the bottom screw untill the
cassette bottoms out on the bracket.

7. Use the 3/32'' hex key to tighten the locking screw in
the back of the bracket.

8. Insert the cables in receptacle on top of the pin and
raise the cassette to the desired height. Pull the
cable through the grip-lock while lifting to raise the
cassette. Press the cap on the top of the grip-lock
while pushing down on the bracket to lower the
cassette.

9. Ensure the cassette is horizontally level by adjusting
the verticle position of the brackets on the cables..

Once the cassette is plumb
on both ends then tighten
the knurled nut onto the top
of the bracket to lock the
grip-lock into place.
10. Ensure the cassette is plumb by sliding it forward
or backward on the bracket slots. Adjusting one
side will affect the other side so ne tuning will be
required between both the ends.
