Lift handle to extended position.

Place ends of lower handle onto handle brackets.
Insert carriage bolts and tighten with wing nuts.

Hold blade control handle against upper handle.
Slowly slip recoil starter into rope guide.
Tighten rope guide wing knob.

Fill tank with gas to within 1/2 inch of top of tank.
Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle supplied
with your mower.

Depress blade control handle and hold.

Pull recoil starter with quick, full armstroke. If engine
does not start after ten seconds of repeated pulls,
repeat steps 7 through 9.
Electric start battery must be charged for 8-10
hours before initial use. See Maintenance Section in
Operator’s Manual.
