According to the pictures in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2
the repair kit supplied may be mounted di-
rectly on the pocket of the new as well as the
former PT100 version. This has the advant-
age that it is not necessary to evacuate the
refrigeration system in order to change the
pocket.

Fig. 3: Former PT100
1. Dismantle the upper terminal part by
loosening the union nut, pos 1.
2. Dismantle the lower terminal part by
loosening the union nut, pos 2. Usu-
ally, the sensor element follows and
can be pulled out of the pocket.

1. Apply the M12 thread to the pocket
and in the adaptor, pos 3, with thread
sealing from the repair kit, and screw
the two parts together.
2. Apply the heat conductive compound
from the repair kit to the sensor tip
and 10 mm up, before mounting the
sensor in the pocket.
Mount the sensor in the pocket with
the cable gland of the connector
pointing in the desired direction. Do
not turn the terminal box while
the sensor is in the pocket. This
can damage the sensor.
3. Mount the union nut, pos. 4, and fas-
ten it manually.
4. Connect the wires for the terminals as
shown in Fig. 5. We recommend that
the wires on the terminals are moun-
ted before the connector is mounted
on the PT100 in order to avoid any
distortion of the terminals. The sock-
et is dismantled by removing the cen-
tre screw and taking out the inner
part by using a small screwdriver.
5. Mount the rubber gasket and the
socket and tighten the centre screw
in the socket.

No number.
Use it as terminal no. “4”
Fig. 5: Wiring
The PT100 sensor is a 4 wiring sensor. The
flat terminal is terminal no. 4 and not
“ground”. Therefore, do not mix the PT100
socket with other sockets such as those of
pressure transducers.

Mounting of new sensor element on new
pocket type
Use the supplied repair kit except the adapter
and thread sealing. It is also recommended to
change socket.
Dismantling
1. When dismantling the centre screw,
the socket box can be pulled out in
order to take out the rubber gasket.
2. Dismantle the union nut. The sensor
element can then be pulled out by
hand.
Mounting
Follow the Mounting instruction page 2, point
2 - 3 - 4 - 5.
The repair kits consist of the following
parts:
1. Appliance connector with sensor
element 1 pc.
2. Socket complete 1 pc.
3. Adapter (for former PT100 only) 1 pc.
4. Heat conductive compound 1 pc.
5. Thread sealing (for former
