Fig. 4: Repair kit
1. Apply the M12 thread to the pocket
and in the adaptor, pos 3, with thread
sealing from the repair kit, and screw
the two parts together.
2. Apply the heat conductive compound
from the repair kit to the sensor tip
and 10 mm up, before mounting the
sensor in the pocket.
Mount the sensor in the pocket with
the cable gland of the connector
pointing in the desired direction. Do
not turn the terminal box while
the sensor is in the pocket. This
can damage the sensor.
3. Mount the union nut, pos. 4, and fas-
ten it manually.
4. Connect the wires for the terminals as
shown in Fig. 5. We recommend that
the wires on the terminals are moun-
ted before the connector is mounted
on the PT100 in order to avoid any
distortion of the terminals. The sock-
et is dismantled by removing the cen-
tre screw and taking out the inner
part by using a small screwdriver.
5. Mount the rubber gasket and the
socket and tighten the centre screw
in the socket.

Fig. 5: Wiring
The PT100 sensor is a 4 wiring sensor. The
flat terminal is terminal no. 4 and not
“ground”. Therefore, do not mix the PT100
socket with other sockets such as those of
pressure transducers.
